About the East Surrey Organists' Association

The Association was formed in 1932 and consists of around fifty members, who share a mutual interest in the Organ and its music.  Most members play the organ, but by no means all, and some hold church appointments.

What we do

Meetings are held monthly (except in August) and usually consist of visits to organs of interest in Surrey or further afield, when the organ is demonstrated and there is usually an opportunity for members to play.  We make an annual visit to a Cathedral, and one meeting is a purely social occasion.  Occasional lectures or recitals also feature in the programme.

Anyone interested is welcome to join us.

Our visits are posted on the website, and also listed in our monthly newsletter.

Our next meeting is a full day visit to Salisbury on Saturday 25th September 2010. See the meetings page for more details.
